Eastern Kentucky University Athletic Facility Renovations

The Eastern Kentucky University Athletic Facilities Renovation project includes upgrades to their football, softball and baseball fields. The East Side Football Facility renovations included a new multistory stadium, lockers, weight training, restrooms, various offices, and mechanical rooms. Additional design features include a players lounge area and relocation of the iconic canon.

The Softball Facility renovation to the Gertrud Hood Field includes site development with new, multilevel bleacher seating, play restrooms for each dugout, press box, concessions and public restrooms. Additional landscaping development includes native shade and ornamental trees to frame the views of the new stadium structure, walkway site lighting and furnishings will be included in the design.

The Baseball Facility renovations to the Turkey Hughes Baseball Field will include a 1,000 seat stadium and will include ADA compliant parking and access ramp, as well as the design of an outdoor gathering space.
