Eastern Kentucky University New Student Housing

The LEED Gold Certified project is an 85,000 SF, 259 bed, suite-style residence hall. The new building replaced large asphalt parking areas and deteriorated mid-century student housing facilities and includes expanded green space and improved pedestrian and vehicular circulation and parking. Many site elements include preservation of numerous mature trees, new exterior gathering spaces with patios, tables and a grilling area, parking studies for future expansion and plans for connections with the future Science Building Phase 2.
